Intense competition on the market  urges companies to supply more and more perfect products. At present, only a company that pays meticulous attention to the quality of their products can win recognition which guarantees survival on the market. Hence the popularity of ISO 9000 norms which guarantee to all the customers that the company functions according to the generally recognised rules.

ISO 9001

An important step on the path of continuous improvement of our company in all the fields of our activity was a decision we made in Spring 1998 (as one of the first furniture manufacturers) to introduce the ISO 9001 quality control system.

After several months of intensive work on building the system BALMA S.A. subjected itself to certification audit by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance. Having analysed the quality control system functioning in the company, the auditors announced that BALMA S.A. Furniture Factory meets the standards and norms specified in ISO 9001.

To ensure constant quality control the certificate has to be renewed every three years. Therefore in March 2002 the quality control system in BALMA S.A. was audited once more. We were successful again and as a result in June 2002 BALMA S.A. was awarded the ISO 9001:2000  Generic Management System Standards Certificate.

The certificate recognises all the efforts of BALMA S.A in the field of design, manufacturing and service. Thus all the employees are obliged to respect the ISO 9001 norms and all of them are responsible for constant care of the quality of manufactured products.

For the Management of the Factory the Certificate is a material proof that their quality policy, which has been the priority for many years now, is right and is an important element giving the company a strong position on the market.

The Certificate of quality, which confirms the leading position of BALMA S.A. Furniture Factory among the manufacturers of office furniture in Poland, is at the same time a big challenge for all of us. We consider it an encouragement to further efforts aimed at constant improvement of organisation, management and technology, as well as skills of the employees.

TÜV GS and TÜV TOXPROOF

  

As a result of dynamic growth of export there appeared a need for acquiring the certificates required in the European Union countries. We started working on obtaining the GS and TOXPROOF certificates for our products. At the beginning of the year 2002 we were awarded the certificates which prove that our products are manufactured according to DIN and EN norms.

In 2005 we received TUV certificate for furniture from FF>> and Proxy furniture systems.

All the activities and efforts mentioned above are aimed at satisfaction of our customers, which has always been our main objective.
